Vijaya Fertility · Kaloor-Kadavanthara, Kochi
There is a frustration that runs quietly through fertility care in India. You find a specialist you trust. Then a different face appears at the monitoring scan. Someone else at the retrieval. Notes that don't quite match what was said in the consultation. Dr. Vijayalakshmy built this centre as the deliberate opposite of that.
Vijaya Fertility, IVF & Endoscopy Centre opened at Kaloor-Kadavanthara on a conviction she has held since her earliest years in reproductive medicine: that fertility — among the most personal care there is — deserves one specialist who knows the full arc of your story. Every consultation. Every scan. Every retrieval and transfer. Every difficult conversation, when one is needed.
The centre is equipped with an in-house embryology laboratory and endoscopy suite. The technology is current — IVF, ICSI, IMSI, vitrification, operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. The pricing is transparent: a full, itemised estimate in writing before treatment begins.
From a diagnostic first visit to a multi-cycle ART programme — every plan is written, fully costed, and walked through with both partners before treatment begins. Alternatives are always named.

The complete cycle — controlled ovarian stimulation, monitored retrieval, embryology in our own in-house lab, and transfer with sustained luteal support.
A single carefully selected sperm placed directly into each egg under the microscope. IMSI adds high-magnification morphology selection for the best candidate.
A first, low-intervention step — washed and concentrated sperm placed in the uterus at the optimal window of ovulation. Simpler, more affordable.
Day-care retrieval directly from the testis or epididymis when ejaculate is unavailable. Performed in-house and paired with ICSI in the same cycle.

Vitrification for fertility preservation — for medical reasons, surplus embryos in a fresh cycle, or for life timing. Stored on-site under continuous monitoring.

Coordinated donor-egg, donor-sperm and surrogacy cycles, with full counselling and complete regulatory adherence to the ART (Regulation) Act, India.
A complete diagnostic workup — hormone panel, ovarian-reserve assessment (AMH, AFC), tubal patency, semen analysis, and where indicated hysteroscopy or laparoscopy.
Diagnostic and operative laparoscopy & hysteroscopy — endometriosis excision, fibroid management, tubal surgery, adhesiolysis. In-house suite. Day-care where possible.
We do not outsource to partner labs. Every retrieval, fertilisation, transfer, and endoscopic procedure is performed at Kaloor-Kadavanthara — under conditions held to tight tolerance, and led personally by Dr. Vijayalakshmy. The technology is current; the pricing is always written upfront.
No two paths are the same — but every path follows roughly this rhythm, and every cost at every stage is told to you before you commit.
An unhurried visit. Your story, your history, your questions — met openly by Dr. Vijayalakshmy. The consultation fee is fixed, clear, and confirmed before you arrive.
Hormone panel, ovarian-reserve markers (AMH, AFC), tubal patency studies, semen analysis. Every test is listed, priced, and explained before it is ordered.
A written, fully itemised plan walked through with both partners. Alternatives are named. The lowest-intervention path that still works is the one we begin with. You see every cost before signing.
Whether IUI, IVF, ICSI or a day-care laparoscopy — performed and supervised by Dr. Vijayalakshmy personally. No locum, no rotation, no surprise additions to the invoice.
First-trimester scanning here. Then continued shared-care through delivery, or a warm handover to your chosen obstetrician with complete records.
A six-week visit. Sometimes a photograph on the wall. Sometimes a conversation about the next one. The door stays open.
Dr. Vijayalakshmy founded Vijaya Fertility on a conviction held since her earliest years in reproductive medicine: that a family's fertility journey deserves one doctor who owns it from start to finish — and that affordable IVF does not have to mean impersonal care. Every consultation, every retrieval, every transfer, every laparoscopy is personally led by her.
Her clinical interests sit at the intersection of reproductive surgery and assisted conception — the cases where precision and continuity matter most. The centre's in-house embryology lab and endoscopy suite exist because she insists that the quality of care not depend on outsourcing.

What we appreciated most was that Dr. Vijayalakshmy sat with us and explained every cost before we started. There were no surprises — and there was a baby at the end of it.
We had been to two clinics before. At Vijaya Fertility, the difference was immediate — the same doctor, every visit. The same calm voice every time we were scared.
Two failed IVF cycles elsewhere. We came to Dr. Vijayalakshmy and she revised the protocol completely. Our daughter was born the following year. She never once made us feel like a number.
The itemised estimate they gave us before starting was exactly what we paid. Not a rupee more. For a family watching every expense, that honesty was everything.
If your question isn't here, it deserves a longer answer than a web page. Please call or book a first visit — we will take the time.
We provide a fully itemised, written estimate at the planning visit — before you commit to treatment. IUI is the most affordable pathway; IVF and ICSI sit in the middle; donor and surrogacy programmes are the most involved. We do not use package pricing that hides variation costs. Every line item is named, and you leave the planning visit knowing exactly what your pathway will cost.
From the first day of stimulation to the pregnancy test is about four to six weeks. Add two to three weeks before that for the planning visit and baseline scans. We do not rush the preparation phase — it is the part of the cycle that most affects the outcome.
Yes, always. Every consultation, every monitoring scan, every retrieval, every transfer, and every laparoscopy is performed and supervised by Dr. Vijayalakshmy personally. There is no rotating roster and no locum. This is by design — it is why the centre was built as a specialist-led practice rather than a large multi-doctor clinic.
Success in IVF is meaningfully different for every couple — age, ovarian reserve, sperm parameters, uterine factors, and cause of infertility all shape the number. Dr. Vijayalakshmy will walk you through realistic per-cycle and cumulative odds for your specific situation at the planning visit. We do not publish a single headline rate because no headline rate is honest.
Bring any prior reports — semen analyses, hormone tests, scans, prescriptions, operation notes. If your cycle is regular, no particular day is needed; if irregular, please mention this when booking. Come together if possible — we meet both partners at the first visit.
Yes — a significant part of our practice is couples from across Kerala and from the Gulf. We coordinate visit clustering so that most monitoring scans fall within a focused 10 — 14 day window, minimising travel for patients coming from a distance.
We sit down afterwards — in person — and review every step honestly. Sometimes the answer is to adjust the protocol and try again; sometimes to investigate further; sometimes to consider a different pathway. The next step is always a shared decision, and the cost of that next step is always written before you commit.
Yes. We offer staged-payment plans for IVF and ART cycles. Our view is that cost should never be the reason a family does not pursue the treatment they need — so we discuss payment openly and find a structure that works. Please ask at the planning visit.
Share what feels relevant — we will reach out within one working day to confirm a time. If something feels urgent, please call directly: +91 94475 17880.
